Shantel Taylor qualified as a New Zealand Registered Nurse with a Bachelor of Health Science in 1999. She has nursed in both Auckland and London, and has over 15 years’ experience working in a medical Dermatology, Skin Cancer and Cosmetic clinic. In 2015 she specialised in Aesthetics and obtained a Certificate in Aesthetic Nursing, achieved with Excellence. Shantel has extensive training and hands-on experience in skin and appearance medicine, supported by a broad nursing background.
Bay Skin Studio
In January 2022, Shantel opened her own clinic in Mairangi Bay on Auckland’s North Shore. Bay Skin Studio is a boutique aesthetic clinic delivering high-quality, personalised treatments that give natural-looking results. In 2024 Shantel opened a second clinic in Waipu village, Bream Bay, Northland offering the same high-quality treatments and customer service.
Shantel works alongside an experienced NZSCM Cosmetic Doctor and G.P and the clinic is audited to meet NZSCM standards.
Bay Skin Studio offers the very best in appearance medicine in a calm and private setting, and is fully equipped with all the required medical equipment to ensure client safety at all times.
After many years in the skin and cosmetic industry, Bay Skin Studio was created to offer an ethical, personalised alternative to the oversaturated and poorly regulated aesthetics market. The name reflects our coastal roots while our philosphy centres on safety, honesty and results.
Shantel is also highly experienced with needle-phobics and offers the same gentle care whether her clients seek help for aesthetic purposes, or for medical conditions such as headaches, teeth grinding and excessive sweating.
